What was the name of the toy that came out a few years ago?

The toy had a tube-type thing in the middle and a button on either side. Inside of the water was a sort of water pet that you were able to communicate with by pressing the buttons. The "water pets" were also advertised to be able to communicate with other "water pets". They came in a variety of colors and pet types and were released in just about every popular toy store...do you have any idea?
